The Ride MTN PIG has seen a slight change again back to it's roots, with a new split tail design reminiscent of the Alter Ego. It keeps the aggressive nature of the Mountain Pig for hard charged turns, carving and snow plowing whilst giving a more agile back end for a more forgiving turn initiation. The half moon rear end helps sink the tail and lift the nose up to float effortlessly in the deepest of powder and the long effective edge and tapered side cut makes this a carving weapon. The board might appear large but it is super lightweight with Carbon Slim Walls with a responsive Carbon infused Glass construction making for a responsive, robust and poppy ride. Not for the faint of heart, it is the board for those that love speed, response and edge control like no other without weighing you down.
High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
RIDE¡¯s exclusive Slimewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. Just like your skate wheels, the urethane in Slimewalls smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on. On top of all that, these babies are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding.
This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
