The Khroma Volition is a waterproof, lightly insulated ski mountaineering jacket, built to keep you warm when the temperature plummets. Versatile and protective, the jacket is constructed with a 2-Layer GORE-TEX outer and lined with PrimaLoft Silver Insulation, made from 100% post-consumer recycled bottle chips. These are processed and spun into fibers finer than cashmere, creating millions of warm air trapping pockets that help you stay warm and stay out all day long.

On demanding climbs the breathable outer shell and two-way pit zip vents aid temperature regulation to keep you comfortable. It features a laminated peak for added coverage when the blizzards descend. It has a fleece lined chin guard to eliminate friction and a YKK AquaGuard VISLON front zip with an internal storm flap.The jacket has four external pockets, an inner security pocket and a mesh stuff pocket that will easily swallow up skins or a map. The adjustable cuffs have a stretchy inner to keep out any spindrift, slotting seamlessly over gloves.

TECHNOLOGY

GORE-TEX 2-Layer Insulated Fabric

Stay dry. Stay warm. With a unique insulation layer suspended between the 2-layer GORE-TEX and the inner lining, this fabric offers warmth and insulation whilst keeping you dry and protected from the weather.

Waterproof (HH 28,000mm)

These waterproof barriers are incredibly thin. At Rab we use membranes that range between 7 and 30 microns in thickness ¨C for reference, a strand of human hair is around 100 microns. Finer membranes will allow for greater breathability for fast and light pursuits. Thicker membranes provide a greater level of waterproof durability.

PrimaLoft Silver Insulation

This 100% recycled insulation is reprocessed and spun into new synthetic fibers that give you uncompromised loft and warmth in a highly breathable, fast drying package.
